David Shugrue

 David Shugrue, 58, of  Torrington, CT, passed away Sunday, June 28th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
David was born in Torrington, CT on September 26, 1961, a son of Barbara (Morin) Shugrue, of Torrington and the late James Shugrue.
He was a graduate of Torrington High Class of 1980  and had been employed as a CNA at Torrington Extend A Care for many years and later at Atria of Litchfield Hills.
He loved being with his family and dog Barkley.
In addition to his mother,  he is survived by brothers James Shugrue and Steven Shugrue and wife Diane,  nieces Carly and husband Chris Grgach,  Meaghan Shugrue with Brandon Troxel,  and nephew Conor Shugrue with Kelly Theodore,  great nieces Kynzie and Evianna Grgach  and Ariella TheodoreShugrue.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday July 6 at 11:00 AM at Saint Peter Church in Torrington.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions can be made to Atria of Litchfield Hills 376 Goshen Rd Torrington CT 06790.  online memorials www.phalenfuneral.com
