Virginia Ginnie Formaggioni

 Virginia (Ginnie) Formaggioni, 78, of Torrington CT, passed away Friday, February 5th, at Rose Haven  in Litchfield. She was the wife of 56 years of Ronald Formaggioni.
Ginnie was born in Lewiston, ME on November 22, 1937, a daughter of the late Doris (Sudsbury)  and Raymond  Allen.
She was employed by the Law Firms of Gallichio, Merati, and Sivaslian before she joined the Torrington Probate Office where she worked for 22 years.
In addition to her husband,  she leaves a son Ronald Formaggioni Jr and daughters Lori Holt and husband Larry and her sons  Christopher and Eric Rafferty,  and Lynn Hunter and husband Robert and their children Ryan and Colin.  She also leaves a brother Frank Allen and sisters Cleo Smith,  Gloria Bourque,  Elizabeth Yakkey,  Linda Howe, and Patricia Grustas.  She was predeceased by brothers Raymond and Joseph Allen
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 9th,  9:45 from Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave Torrington to Saint Francis Church for  a Mass at 10:30.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home  Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM.  The family extends special thanks to the staff at Rose Haven for their exceptional care.
