Viola Ruth ( Macchi) Gelormino, 89, of Torrington, beloved wife of Joseph C. Gelormino, passed away Thursday, October 19th, after a long illness. Called the Class Giggler in High School as a Cheerleader, Vi never lost her sense of humor until she suffered a debilitating stroke. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and hosting holiday dinners with homemade ravioli and her famous cheesecake. She was a wonderful mother and wife and will be greatly missed.
