Thomas Geoffrey Mead

Thomas G Mead, 72, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, February 23rd, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the husband of the late Sherry Collins.

Thomas was born in Torrington, CT on February 29, 1944, a son of the late Ella (Kirschner) and Raymond Mead. He attended Torrington High and graduated from Wamogo Regional High. He was also a graduate of University of Connecticut and served as the student representative speaker at the opening ceremony for UCONN Torrington Branch. He worked several jobs in the Torrington area.

Thomas is survived by two brothers, Dennis of Denver CO, and James and wife Doreen of Live Oak FL. Services are at the convenience of the family.
