Susan Marie (Miasek) Pastorello

Susan Marie Pastorello, 55, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, February 8th, at Yale New Haven Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and best friends. She was the wife of Charles A. Pastorello.

Susan was born in Torrington, CT on April 10, 1962, a daughter of the late Beverly (Perry) and Henry Miasek. A graduate of Torrington High and Central Connecticut State College, she was a dedicated program manager for Sunset Shores F.I. 

She loved all animals especially her two cats: Sonny and Girly girl. She enjoyed vacationing at the cape every summer, watching plays and musicals at the Warner theater with her husband, and shopping with her daughter. She was always happiest when surrounded by family. 

In addition to her husband, she leaves behind a daughter Caryn Pastorello and a brother Perry Miasek. She also leaves nieces Brooke, Brenna, and Hannah and nephews Jesse and Daniel DiFrancesco as well as many cousins. 

She was predeceased by sister Katherine DiFrancesco.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday Feb. 17 at 10:00 AM at Saint Francis Church 160 Main St Torrington. Friends may call Friday 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Phalen Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions can be made to Saint Peter/Saint Francis School or to the Little Guild of Saint Francis.
