Stephen Bernard Bennett

Stephen Bernard Bennett, 62, of Torrington, CT, passed away Saturday, March 31st, at home. He was the husband of Valerie Longhi Bennett.

Stephen was born in Torrington, CT on September, 1955, a son of the late Helena (Lewandowski) and Bertram Bennett, and was a self employed painter. He loved his God,wife and children, cherished all his nieces and nephews, and took pride in his family, flag, and country.

In addition to his wife he leaves a daughter Stephanie Galt and stepson Jacob Sherwood, brother and best friend Chet Bennett and sisters Mary Armbruster and husband Dick, Beverly Prahm and husband Charlie, Barbara Prahm , and Cate Bosco. and husband Lenny, and sister in law Katherine Bennett. He was predeceased by a brother Louis Bennett and sister Bridget Bennett.
