Stella (Kos) Denza

Stella Denza, 88, of Torrington, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 22nd, at Saint Francis Hospital. She was the wife of Marino A. Denza.

Stella was born in Torrington, CT on February 14, 1930, a daughter of the late Victoria (Walgura) and Stephen Kos. She had worked for the Torrington Company and also for the Visiting Nurses.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Kenneth Denza and wife Barbara of New Hampshire and daughters Debbie Toomey and husband Steve of Waterbury and Sandy Sulek and husband Kevin of Harwinton. She also leaves grandchildren Matthew and Kaitlin Sulek, Tiffany and Christina Jackson, and Gary Clinton.

Friends may call Tuesday Feb. 27 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:30 PM.
