While we didn’t see each other every day, I knew you were always there if I needed you. “If you need anything, let me know,” were most often your parting words to me. I’m going to miss our chats and even just sitting together in each other’s company.
I will miss your smile at the Memorial Day parade and Veterans’ holidays, and your stealthy photographic prowess thst yielded some life-long memories for me. Having you there seemed to give each of those days an added measure of reverence.
You are and always will be a special friend and brother Veteran to me. I’m going to miss you so much, and will look for you on the other side. Fair winds and following seas for you, brother; Rest easy.
