Robert "Goose" Gauthier

 Robert J Gauthier, "Goose"  75, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Sunday January 31st, at Amberwoods in Farmington.  He was the husband of the late Kathleen (Babuin) Gauthier.
Robert was born in Torrington, CT on April 22, 1940, a son of the late Mary (Tazzara) and Charles  Gauthier. A graduate of Saint Francis School, he served in the U.S. Air Force.  He worked as an appliance repair technician at Dick Cooper Appliance and Ducci Appliance.  He enjoyed spending time with family and enjoyed sporting events with his grandchildren.
He is  survived by  his son, Robert Gauthier of Harwinton; and daughter Tanya Velez of Torrington and grandchildren Taylor Gauthier and Eddie and Shane Velez.  He also leaves a brother Francis Gauthier of Torrington and sister Doris Middlebrook of Vernon.
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Francis Church, Torrington, CT, at 10:30 AM on Friday, February 5th, with burial following at Saint Peter Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday 6:00-8:00 PM Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave Torrington
