Robert V.E. Fuller

Watertown – Robert V. E. Fuller, 92  died peacefully 12/4/2017 at Watertown Convalarium.  He was the loving husband of the deceased Rosalie Ann (Thomson) Fuller for 64 years.  He was born November 11, 1925 in Waterbury, Connecticut.  He leaves behind his son Mark and his wife Kim Jones, son Robert and his wife Susan, son William and his wife Hilary, daughter Geriann Keith and her husband Jim, son Daniel and his wife Dianne, and son David and his wife Teresa. He also leaves behind many grand and great grandchildren.  He loved nothing more than participating in activities with his family. All of his family will miss him, his great sense of humor, and his ready willingness to help anyone in need. He was proud of his army service in World War II where he earned a Purple Heart at Remagen Bridge, Germany. He was a Master Electrician and supreme handyman and was retired from Keeler and Long Paint Manufacturers in Watertown. Bob was involved in scouting for many years, actively supported Watertown Youth Hockey, and was a founding member and long-time Drum Major of the Upper Guernseytown Bagpipe Band. He was a member of the Watertown Lions Old Fellows Project Club (LOFPC) and loved working on community service projects. Many a spirited LOFPC meeting took place at Chubba’s, the group’s favorite breakfast place. Bob’s family is especially grateful for the wonderful care shown to Bob and Rosalie by the CNAs and Nurses at Watertown Convalarium.  Donations may be made to the Watertown Free Public Library Building Fund www.watertownlib.org or the charity of your choice.
