It is with my sincerest regrets that I'm not able to be there I'm so glad I got to see Uncle Richard on my last visit to Connecticut and I only wish that my wife had been able to meet him before you passed. If you need anything at all just let me know and I will gladly do my best again my condolences I will try to call you at a better time. Love Edwin

Richard was and always will be my big brother we were apart by miles but not by heart or love . I used many of his strengths and values through my life one of his most important one family he always family ahead of himself you all are in my prayers

We were so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. He is now at peace and will no longer suffer with pain. I will always fondly remember him teasing me about sitting on the deck reading the books that you loaned me. We shared some good times as neighbors.

I'm so glad I got the chance to know my cousin Richard. The love between him and his family was incredible to see, it was so special. He was one of the nicest people I will ever know. Reminded me of my Grandfather. I'll never forget the shot of Gentlemen Jack we shared. Peace and love to all. OX
