Norman Daley

Norman Daley, 78, of Torrington, CT, passed away Monday, July 31st, at Litchfield Woods. He was the husband of Frances Battistoni Daley.

Norman was born in Torrington on December 30, 1938, a son of the late Eleanor (Russell) and Aaron Daley.

He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving from 1958-1961.

He was retired from Kimberly Clark, and later worked for Torrington Ford.

He was a Communicant of Saint Francis Church and a member of Torrington Elks Lodge. An avid bowler, he enjoyed travel and time with family.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Scott Daley and wife Diane of Canton and their children Cameron and Alexander; and Sean Daley and daughter Bria of Torrington. He also leaves his sister Mary Beth Zontok and husband Joseph of Harwinton, several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by brothers John and David Daley.

Funeral Services willl be held Friday Aug. 4 10:45 from Phalen Funeral Home to Saint Francis Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30. Burial will follow at New Saint Francis Cemetery.
