Mildred (Bray) Pestritto

Mildred Bray Pestritto, 94, of Torrington died on June 19 2017. Mildred was a beloved devoted wife mother and grandmother, wife of the late Rosario Pestritto who passed away in 1991 . Mildred was born April 4th 1923 in Torrington CT .and was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mary Fitzgerald Bray. Mildred was predeceased by her sister Lilian Koczur and brother William Bray. Mildred also lost her son at an early age of 38, Thomas Lee Pestritto, husband of Shirley Pestritto, in 1988, and infant granddaughter Dawn Marie Pestritto . Mildred lived to cook, and family was everything to her , she also enjoyed playing Bingo. She leaves behind her son Richard Pestritto and his wife Sharon, 3 grandchildren Jason Pestritto and wife Jodi , Rick Pestritto and Lisa Ducatelli. She also leaves several great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to call 6:00 to 8:00 Friday June 23rd at Phalen Funeral Home with a service 10:00 AM Saturday. Burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery. Contributions in Lieu of flowers are welcome. We thank the Torrington Health and Rehabilitation Center for all their support over the years.
