Marietta (Ciesco) Pont

Marietta Ciesco Pont, 84, of Goshen, CT, passed away Sunday, July 24th, at New Britain General Hospital, New Britain. She was born in Torrington, CT on November 4, 1931, a daughter of the late Maria and Eligio Ciesco.  She had worked as an Inspector at The Torrington Company and  Ovation Guitar Company.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by two daughters, Karen Ives of Torrington and her children Melissa Ives and husband Paul Gill, and Joshua Ives; Charlene Dutka and husband Edward of Goshen and their children David, Drew, Samantha, and Matthew. She also leaves great grandchildren Paul and Sam Gill, stepdaughter Kathy Fazzalaro of Avon and her  husband Michael and daughter Shannon,  as well as two sisters, Santa Drozdenko and Rosemary Bodnar, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Edward Pont, son in law Edward Ives, and five brothers and a sister. Services are at the convenience of the family.
