Margaret Honey Maggie (Kittle) Keywan

Margaret Mary Kittle Keywan passed away on Tuesday June 13, 2017. Born in Torrington on July 16, 1936 to the late Edward Joseph and Mary Frances (Scanlon) Kittle.  Margaret was married to the late Raymond Keywan for over 53 years.  Margaret resided in Torrington and enjoyed her summer home in West Yarmouth, MA.  
She loved spending time with her family, her friends and in her garden.  Her special interests were knitting, crocheting and volunteering for Coe Memorial Park.  She was one of the original members of Coe Memorial Park Committee and was instrumental in the gardening and the preservation of Coe Park's history.  Margaret also loved Cape Cod and it's history.  She worked for Southern New England Telephone Company for over 30 years.  
Maggie is survived by her sister Julia Ortiz Sacramento CA, brother Stephen Kittle Torrington five children, Kathy K Renzullo, Torrington CT Rosemary K Cockburn Litchfield CT, Mary Jo Keywan Boulder CO Julianne Keywan Keator and husband Christian Keator Milford CT and Brian Keywan San Francisco, CA. Five grandchildren Steven Renzullo and his wife Molly, Victoria Rose Renzullo, Amanda Margaret, Christian and Olivia Keator and also one great grandchild Lyon Raymond Renzullo.  
A gathering of friends and family will be held at her home on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 4 - 7 pm.
