Lyman Harrison

Lyman Harrison, 88, of New Hartford, CT, passed away Wednesday, November 23rd, at his home. A life-long resident, he was born in New Hartford on January 10, 1928, a son of the late Nina (Twining) and Charles Harrison. He was employed by Bell Lumber Co for 22 years and later Cesco Steel. He also helped his nephew Floyd and his wife Kelly Harrison at their farm and sawmill in New Hartford for many years.

He is survived by sisters Lucretia Huxley and Mary Jane Nuhn and husband Gary, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Albert and Floyd Harrison and sisters Josephine Seitz and Margaret Huxley.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Nov. 29 at 11 AM at Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave Torrington Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 6:00 TO 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions can be made to Foothills VNS 32 Union St Winsted CT 06098.
