Lucy (Goodwin) Begey

Lucy Begey, 87, Torrington, CT, passed away Wednesday, October 19th, at her home. She was the wife of the late Raymond Begey who died in 1987.

Lucy was born in Torrington, CT on December 5, 1928, a daughter of the late Daisy and Aden Goodwin She was employed as a secretary for Vets Explosives in Torrington.

She leaves her children, son Raymond Begey and wife Kim, of Torrington, daughters Marjorie Alexander and husband Ray, of Torrington, Cheryl DeMichiel and husband Gregg of Old Lyme, Karen Pollock of Torrington, Lucille O'Connor and husband John of New Hartford and Mary Adams and husband Craig, of Avon, 15 grandchildren and 5  great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister Myrtle Dobos of Northfield and brother in law Robert Begey and his wife Sue of Torrington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Francis Church in Torrington, CT Monday Oct. 24, at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at new Saint Francis Cemetery.
