Linda LaFountain

Linda D. LaFountain, 70, of Torrington, CT, passed away Friday, June 2nd, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of Terry Simpson.  Linda was born in Winsted on December 11, 1946, the daughter of the late Gladys (Surdam) and Edward LaFountain.

Lynn received a Degree in Human Services from NWCC and operated a Metaphysical Practice.  In prior years she was the Host of Cable 5 "Mindscapes".  She spent some time as a volunteer at Susan B Anthony in an effort to support the needs of women in distress.  Lynn spent most of her life focused on the well being of others.  She selflessly provided a home for people in need and provided food to people that were hungry.  Never saying "no" or "I can't".  She always found a way to make a difference to others.  No matter how much she was personally struggling others came first.  She was a true angel.

In addition to her husband she leaves two daughters, Tami Pezze Smedick and husband Patrick of Torrington and Traci Pezze Bonassar and husband Joseph of Chesire, grandchildren Marisa Iannacito and Chad and Jake Beaton. She was predeceased by a brother Thomas LaFountain.
