Lieselotte Beier

Lieselotte Beier, 91, of Torrington, CT, passed away Monday, November 6th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Heinz Beier who died in 2013.

She was born in Germany, on May 30, 1926, and came to the United States in 1953. She worked in Quality Control at the Torrington Company Needle Division and also for Mitral Corp. An avid reader, she enjoyed crocheting, baking, and cooking. She and her husband enjoyed traveling before his death. 

Lieselotte is survived by a son, Heinz and his wife Mary Jane Beier of New Hartford, and was predeceased by a son Uwe Beier and 2 sisters and a brother in Germany.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 11th at Saint Paul's Church in Torrington, CT .

Friends may call 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, November 10th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington and 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 11th at Saint Paul's Church. Memorial Contributions can be made to St Paul's Church Book of Remembrance 837 Charles St Torrington, CT 06790.
