Kenneth W Gagne

 Kenneth W Gagne, 94, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Sunday, February 7th, at Valerie Manor, Torrington.  He was the husband of 69 years of Lorraine Gagne.
Kenneth was born in Milldale, CT on September 28, 1921, a son of the late Marguerite (Masse)  and Alfred  Gagne and raised in Hartford, and was a State Champion for Cross Country in 1940.  He served in WWII in the Army Air Corp as a Crew Chief repairing planes.  He then married his childhood sweetheart and worked with his father and brother at Gagne & Gagne Inc until he retired.  He was a devoted family man.
In  addition to his wife,  he leaves a son Kenneth W. Gagne Jr and wife Tammy of Yachats OR and daughter Jan Slavin and husband Jim of Harwinton,   grandchildren Christine Sullivan of New Hartford,  Kenneth W Gagne III and wife Melissa of Orlando FL,  Wendy Palmisano and husband Jason of Indiatlantic FL and Kerry Dennis and fiance Andy Smigielski of Melbourne FL 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his brother Alfred Gagne.
Funeral Services will be held at Phalen Funeral Home, Torrington, CT, at 11 AM on Thursday, February 11th,  with burial following at Saint Peter Cemetery.  Friend may call prior the service from 10-11 AM
