Joseph R Hickson

Joseph Hickson 67, of Terryville, CT passed away Friday, July 15th, at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Joseph was born in Torrington, CT on October 9, 1948, a son of the late Evelyn (Hennequin) and Robert Hickson. A graduate of Oliver Wolcott Tech, he served in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam War as a Jet Engine mechanic. He was the owner of Foreign Auto Sales and Service for over 25 years in Torrington before his retirement. He was a 5th Degree Karate Black Belt.

Joseph is survived by a brother Tim Hickson and wife Jamie of Torrington and four sisters, Elaine Brown and husband Barry and Carol Altalef all of CA and Chris Seaback of RI, andMargie Love and husband Stephen of AZ., and nieces and nephews, Dawn Baldonasa, Sean Koplar, Cassie Depaolo, and Zack Hickson.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 26th at Hillside Cemetery Chapel in Torrington, Friends may call 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, July 25th at Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave Torrington. Memorial Contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
