James W Clark Jr

. James Clark Jr., 84, of Harwinton, husband of Evelyn T. Clark, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016. He was born in Torrington, the son of the late James and Florence Clark. James was a graduate of Oliver Wolcott Technical School ‘48. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He made his career as a machinist at the Torrington Co. for 50 years. James was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He was a fan of the UCONN Huskies and New York Yankees. He was an avid gardener. One of his favorite places was Chatham, MA. Besides his wife, James is survived by his son, Timothy and wife Theresa of Harwinton and granddaughters Meagan and Patricia, his son, Christopher and wife Nicole of Canton and grandsons Nathan and Ian.  Services will be held Monday 9:30-10:30 from the Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave. Torrington with a Mass at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Rt. 4, Harwinton.
