Gene R Lilley

GENE R. LILLEY - A life-long resident of the Torrington area passed away on July 12th, 2017 after a long illness. He was 74.

Gene was born on the 22nd of January, 1943 to John Edward and Elizabeth Alice Van Dyke Lilley. He was a proud member of the United States Army having served in Korea during the Vietnam era.

He is survived by his two

daughters, Jennifer Lilley and Deanna Lilley. He also leaves behind three beloved granddaughters, Abigail Lilley, Melody Cruise and Rebecca Correll, all of Torrington, Conn.

Gene left an impression on all those whose paths he crossed. He could turn on the charm and yet if you got on his bad side, he wouldn't mince words.

Some of Gene's happiest days were spent fishing for trout on Lakeville Lake. In later days, he was an avid lover of the horses. Final arrangements will be private.
