Frederick R Levesque, 64, of Thomaston, CT, passed away Friday, July 22nd, after a brave fight with cancer at Vitas Hospice in Waterbury. He was the loving husband of Sharon Kelly-Levesque. A spectacular family man, friend to many, and a very hard worker.

Frederick was born in St Andre, New Brunswick Canada on February 16, 1952, a son of Moise Levesque, of Grand Falls New Brunswick, Canada and the late Imelda (Castonguay) Levesque.  He had served as a Police Officer and Conservation Officer in Grand Falls New Brunswick Canada in the 1970's.

Fred was a versatile contractor for over 40 years as he was well known and respected in the building trade. Fred had a huge passion for working in his trade and had a lot of dedication and pride in his work. He enjoyed many other things such as watching TV westerns, fishing, hunting, playing card games, animal/nature lover, helping others in need, and his maple sugar camp in Canada. What  was most important in his life was his family and his work. Fred was loved by many people and he made a positive difference to many lives.   

In addition to his wife and father, he leaves his children, Rachel and Bruce Levesque and Eric Rioux of Canada and Thomas Cicchiello II, Laura and Alexandria Cicchiello of Connecticut, a brother Maurice Levesque and sister Murielle LeClerc of Canada along with several grandchildren.

A special thank you for outstanding care given to Fred by the doctor, nurses, and social worker. Chaplin and Assistant Chaplin at the Vitas Hospice Healthcare Center.

 

A memorial Service is to be held August 28th at 11 AM at Saint Peter Episcopal Church in Thomaston.
