Frank (Frankie) Anthony Kantor, 86, of Torrington passed away peacefully on Nov. 22, 2016 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital surrounded by his family. Born Sept. 30, 1930, he spent his entire life in Torrington. After attending area schools, he served honorably in the US Army and National Guard during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Plume and Atwood in Thomaston after 48 years. He will be fondly remembered by his ever present cowboy hat, and loved playing cards and going to the casinos.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary (Washington) Kantor and his son Paul Kantor and his children Emily, Kaylee, Shelby, and Caysea of Phoenix AZ. He was predeceased by his daughter Brenda Becker. He also leaves his beloved son in law Vernon Becker and children Bryan and Erich and his wife Melissa of Mesa AZ and great grandchildren Lexi and Camden, several nieces and nephews and brother and sisters in law. He was predeceased by seven siblings.
