Evelyn (Ross) Waldron

 Evelyn Waldron, 90, of New Hartford, CT, passed away Saturday, June 4th, at home.  She was the wife of the late Harry Waldron.
Evelyn was born in Jackson, MS on November 3, 1925, a daughter of the late Ruth (Liles)  and Wesley  Ross.  Evelyn graduated from Central High School in Jackson in 1943.  She married the love of her life, Harry in 1947, they enjoyed 40 years of marriage before Harry predeceased her in 1987.  Evelyn's greatest joy was her family.  She was a devoted wife and mother,  not to mention,  grandmother.  Evelyn was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
She was a member of New Hartford,  Barkhamsted,  and Torrington Senior Centers and enjoyed the Armory Walking Groups.  A member of Altrusa Club,  she also was a member of Saint Paul's Church Sewing Group.
She is survived by a son,  Thomas Waldron and wife Michele of Southington and daughters Gayle W. Costa  and Lynne Anne Morton and husband David of Indianapolis,  and Phyllis Marcantonio and husband David of Estero Fl,  5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 7th at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Torrington, CT with burial following at Hillside Cemetery.
