Delfina (Barbero) Sawoska

Delfina Sawoska, 90, of Torrington, CT, passed away Monday, December 18th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas Sawoska.

Delfina was born in Torrington, CT on December 16, 1927, and had worked for the Torrington Company. She was also a hall monitor at Torrington High for several years. She also served as an officer of United Auto Workers.

She is survived by a son David Sawoska and fiance Lisa Sader, and daughter Claudia Lebel. She also leaves three grandchildren, Chelsea Morello and husband Anthony, Amanda Lebel and husband Matt Solak, and Bethany Holt and husband Daniel, along with great grandchildren A.J., Liana, Axl, Martin, and Scarlett.
