David Wilt

David Wilt, 83, of Torrington, CT, passed away, Monday, November 20th, at Hartford Hospital. He was the husband of 51 years of Mary Gallo Wilt.

David was born in Aultman, PA on February 15, 1934, a son of the late Jennie (Lydic) and David Wilt and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War.

He was employed as an Electrician at The Torrington Company for 21 years and also had worked for Brunswick Corp.

He enjoyed morning coffee with his friends.

In addition to his wife, he leaves three daughters Coleen Marchese and husband Jack of Milford, Kristen Puhalski and husband Robert of Fort Mill SC, and Amie Wilt of Selma NC, and sons Sean Wilt of Middlebury and Joseph Wilt of Torrington, and grandchildren Thomas, Haley, Jimmy,Justin, and Julie.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 25th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, CT with Rev Michael Ambrose of Northwest Hills Community Church officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
