David E Claussen

David E Claussen, 73, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Thursday, December 14th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the husband of Kathleen Jennings Claussen

David was born in Lancaster, NY on March 2, 1944, a son of the late Jane (Blackwell) and Edward Claussen, and was a graduate of Bunnell High in Stratford and Lehigh University in Penn. He was retired from a career in sales.

He enjoyed his summer home in Niantic, fishing, and time with his family and friends. A was lifelong fan of all sports ,  especially the NY Yankees and UCONN  basketball. In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Brian and wife Carolyn Claussen of Bedford NH and their children Samantha and Thomas, and Cindy Claussen and husband Jeff of West Roxbury MA.  He also leaves a sister Gail Santa Maria of Gaithersburg MD.
