Carlene J (Johnston) Puzacke

Carlene J Puzacke, 91, of Torrington, CT, passed away Wednesday, January 10th, at Valerie Manor. She was the wife of the late Stanley J. Puzacke.

Carlene was born in Thomaston, CT on August 17, 1926, a daughter of the late Ruth (Parke) and Joseph Johnston. She was a long time Lake Harwinton resident, living in the home built by her father. She had worked for Thomaston Savings Bank before raising her boys and then at Lewis Mills High School prior to her retirement. She was known for her love of cardinals and cherished the cardinal gifts that friends gave her and displayed them throughout her home. She loved spending time with her family and made friends wherever she went.

She is survived by two sons, Jay Puzacke and wife Sally of New Philadelphia OH and their son Scott; and Robert Puzacke and wife Donna of Torrington and their children Christopher and Carly. She also leaves a brother Floyd Johnston of Middlebury, several nieces and nephews and was blessed by many dear friends. She was predeceased by brothers Fred and Harold Johnston.
