Barbara B (Brown) Wilkins

Barbara B. Wilkins, 84, of Harwinton, CT, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 23rd, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital,  surrounded by her family.   She was the wife of 61 years of the late Donald R. Wilkins who died May 2015.

Barbara was born in Torrington, CT on July 24, 1931, a daughter of the late Jeanne (Courtot) and John A. Brown. She was a graduate of Torrington High, Class of 1950. She worked for Harwinton Pharmacy for a number of years, and also CL&P, Birge Park Luncheonette, and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

Barbara is survived by three daughters, Deborah Misani and husband Peter, Cheryl Fraser and husband Douglas, and Diana Wilkins, and two sons Maurice Wilkins and companion Kathy Pol, and Russell Wilkins and wife Tracy. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren and was predeceased by son David.

A Memorial Service will be held at Harwinton Congregational Church  Saturday July 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM.  Memorial Contributions can be made to Harwinton Volunteer Fire Dept. 158 Burlington Rd Harwinton CT 06791.
