Anthony J Urban

 Anthony J Urban, 96, of Torrington, CT, passed away  Sunday, April 10th, at Valerie Manor. He was the husband of the late Susan Lucia Urban who died in 2006
Anthony was born in Torrington, CT on January 24, 1920, a son of the late Mary  and Joseph  Urban.
He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II. in the Pacific Theater on the USS Abercrombie Destroyer Escort.
He was a retired Engineer at Hamilton Standard,  He is survived by a  daughter, Caroline Schriver, of Torrington and son,Anthony Urban Jr, and wife Valerie  of Milford; grandchildren Joseph and Lindsay Urban,  Jonathon and Nicholas Schriver and Tiffany Oest,  and great grandchildren Ella Urban and Mason and Alice Oest.
  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Francis Church 160 Main St Torrington, CT, at 10:30 on Wednesday, April 13th, with burial following at Saint Peter Cemetery.
