Andrew J Hajducky

Andrew J Hajducky, 86, of Avon, passed away Friday March 3rd, at John Dempsey Hospital, Farmington. He was the husband of Jean Paulson Hajducky.

Andrew was born in Bridgeport, CT on May 11, 1930, a son of the late Margaret Nemergut and Andrew Hajducky.

He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War aboard the USS Maury and USS New Kent.

He was District Director at First National Stores before his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his four children; Andrew Hajducky and wife Lynn Ann of Carlisle MA; Cheryl D'Aquilla and husband Gary of Suffield and their son Kevin; Nanci Malahan of Torrington and her sons Ryan and Curt; and Scott Hajducky and wife Michele of Coconut Creek FL. He also leaves a brother Joseph Hajducky of Bridgeport and sister Anna Rossetti of Bloomfield, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son A. Keith Hajducky and son in law Thomas Malahan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 on Tuesday, March 7th at Sacred Heart Church in Torrington, with burial following at New Saint Francis Cemetery.
