Agnes (Wesolowski) Deane

Agnes Deane, 86, of Torrington, CT, passed away Wednesday, November 23rd, at Litchfield Woods. She was the wife of the late Russell Deane.

Agnes was born in Winsted, CT on April 20, 1930, a of the late Anna (Morris) and Walter Wesolowski and was a graduate of Gilbert High.

Before her retirement, she worked for Carl's True Value in Torrington and Winsted.

She enjoyed cooking and crocheting, and music and also enjoyed the outdoors and animals.

She is survived by sons Leon and wife Marilyn of SC, Dan of Torrington, and Ron and wife Cindy of Winchester and a daughter Sharon Richardson and husband Jerry of Torrington, 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves sisters Regina Smith, Alberta (Dolly) Smith and husband Philip (Fidge) all of New York State, and sister in law Jan Wesolowski, brothers Alfred Wesolowski and wife Mary and Edward Richardson and wife Shelly, all of Torrington. She was predeceased by a son Russel Deane Jr and daughter Heidi Deane and a brother Walter Wesolowski

The family wishes to thank the Staff of Litchfield Woods Primrose Unit for their care.

The family will receive relatives and friends Friday Dec 2 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Phalen Funeral Home 285 Migeon Ave Torrington. Burial will be private at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
